The
main issue with low back pain today is that it is most often associated
with an accident or a work related injury. Truth be told; it's
“possible”.
LBP
in itself has most likely started long before something ever actually
happened (lack of exercise, poor diet/big belly). You see, the
back muscles themselves are always blamed for being weak and un-supportive.
Again, kind of true, they are not made to carry the weight of
the upper body themselves.
Like
a house sits on a foundation, your upper body has it's own foundation.
Which would be your legs, your glutes (butt) and your abs. If
your abs are weak for any reason, you've lost 1/3 of the support
for your low back. If your glutes are also weak, another 1/3.
Your legs, your last 1/3. Look at it another way. Would you fix
your home if it's foundation had structural problems or would
you just let it get worse?
